Porsche Catches on Fire at New York Auto Show Booth
Reports of a vehicle catching on fire at the Jacob Javits Convention Center spread out like wild fire (literally), but to our surprise, the arsonist wasn’t a Ferrari, or even an Italian!
It was a 993 Porsche 911 on display at the lower level of the Javits Center, along with a few modified cars as part of a tuner exhibition. There’s still no comment from any brand representative or city official as why the fire even broke out, but thankfully it was contained on time and nobody was hurt.
The video shows a couple of guys rushing to the scene with fire extinguishers, but it’s certainly too late to salvage the Porsche. It’s been Ferrari-fied.
