Here is a Preview of the Car Tech Headed to CES

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has grown to be the largest trade show in the world, and automotive tech has planted itself as one of the most prominent areas of the show. 2017 will be no different, as OEMs big and small are planning some exciting things. The team over at Roadshow put together a preview of what’s to come.
New(ish) to the automotive sphere, Chinese company Faraday Future is planning on unveiling a production-ready version of its top secret Tesla-fighting electric car. The company has been riddled with financial issues, internal management problems and a healthy amount of public doubt. That said, look out for FF as they may just surprise us all with a successful debut at CES.

Hyundai, on the other hand, will be bringing to CES something less controversial–an autonomous version of their Ioniq hybrid. The Ioniq is currently Hyundai’s platform for autonomous research and is the company’s best attempt yet at embracing current technology with its efficient hybrid/plug-in drivetrain.
Lastly, Honda shows CES what the future of commuting may look like with its NeuV concept car. The shape of the car lends itself to more of a mobile living room, while the interior is packed with tech. Honda explained that the Neuv works through vehicle-to-vehicle communication. This allows it observe traffic and accommodate as necessary.
Look for these debuts and much, much more at CES 2017, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 5-8.
