Show Off Your Ride at Sammy Hagar’s ‘High Tide’ Car Show
Rock legend is bringing high-octane beach party to SoCal Oct. 6, and if you own a badass ride, you may qualify to be a part of the show!

Musician Sammy Hagar knows how to throw a good party. He’s been in the business of partying for his entire career. From his years as a popular solo artist, to his stint in Van Halen, to his current status as iconic rock star, famed auto enthusiast, and all-around chill guy, he knows how to make us rock out. And we certainly can’t forget the Cabo Wabo lifestyle brand the Red Rocker created with his lines of booze, bars, and cantinas. His latest venture is the “High Tide Beach Party and Car Show,” taking place in Huntington Beach, California, on October 6.
Considering that this is a Hagar event, it promises to be a different and funkier kind of car show, bringing together his passions for rockin’ music, and fast and beautiful cars. This will be more than just a beach party. It will be a great event to see and show some amazing vehicles. And if you want to show off your car you can submit your ride, right now.
The High Tide Beach Party and Car Show is looking for a little bit of everything: supercars, exotic rides, classic cars, custom builds, American muscle, and more. Hagar is an avid car collector and car enthusiast, so you can be sure any car show he organizes will have the coolest and most rare automobiles in attendance. In addition to this diverse selection, there will also be some noteworthy (and drool-worthy) cars from movies, celebrity-owned cars, and much more. Hagar will also have his 1982 Ferrari 512BB on display, a classic from his “I Can’t Drive 55” music video.
The High Tide event also promises a lot of rock-n-roll, and the high-wattage lineup includes Hagar’s current band, The Circle, which features Van Halen alum Michael Anthony, Led Zeppelin‘s on-call drummer Jason Bonham, and guitarist Vic Johnson. Joining The Circle on stage for a few numbers will be ex-Motley Crue singer Vince Neil and guitarist god Joe Satriani. Other bands to hit the stage will be classic-rock legends R.E.O. Speedwagon, ska-rock band Reel Big Fish, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Green Day drummer Tre Cool‘s side project Dead Mermaids, and more.
If you want to party like a rockstar on the beach, and see some truly amazing cars, this should be a fun event worth checking out. And steal some of that spotlight for yourself and your sweet ride.
