Being a car enthusiast is one thing, and being a Porsche enthusiast is another. Though we have to hold an appreciation for any automotive enthusiast out there, simply because it is a respectable thing to have a passion for and that those who are seem to be becoming fewer and more far between with each passing year, we have to admit that the Porsche is more than just a car.

Last week, mega horsepower cars from around North America met up in Texas for the Texas Speed Syndicates, Texas Invitationals. It’s an all out speed battle with cars ranging from 800 horsepower at it’s lowest level, to well above 2,000 horsepower at its highest.

When it comes down to choosing between a classic or a modern vehicle, sometimes that choice can be tough. Oftentimes the classic rides are more authentic to the roots of the car, since they are, after all, the roots themselves.

The year was 2012, and Forza Motorsports fans the world over had been enjoying the use of various automobiles from the Porsche stable since the franchise hit the Xbox 360 with Forza Motorsport 2. But with the latest generation of consoles and games, the Porsche brand disappeared from the roster.

It doesn’t take much to love Porsche. Well, for most it doesn’t take anything at all. The curves are flawless, the power is amazing, and the handling is superb. What more could one ask for?

When you have the means, why would you not fill your garage with some of the greatest vehicles ever made? Cars are amazing, and there is just no denying that.

The 991 edition of the 911 GT3 is a pretty epic car. Whether or not you agree with the choice of only offering a PDK transmission, you have to admit a 9,000 RPM straight-6 and four-wheel steering is just delicious.
