It all started when a 6speed member posted this photo in a thread titled, “Why You Can Never Let Your Girlfriend Borrow Your Porsche…”

We no longer live in a world where the fastest supercars are naturally aspirated monsters, screaming at 8-9,000 rpm. No, we now live in a world where the fastest cars on the planet make use of turbos or electricity.

The Porsche Carrera GT. It was part of the age of supercars that turned the dial up to eleven, and kept it there for years. It was a driver’s car, one that would bite you if you looked at it the wrong way.

Back in 2009, the Porsche tuning shop Gemballa created what they call the Mirage GT Carbon Edition. Based off a Porsche Carrera GT, the Mirage GT adds all sorts of goodies like more aggressive carbon bodywork, added horsepower, and a custom set of wheels and tires.
