Would You Put This Body Kit on Your Priceless Carrera GT?

Back in 2009, the Porsche tuning shop Gemballa created what they call the Mirage GT Carbon Edition. Based off a Porsche Carrera GT, the Mirage GT adds all sorts of goodies like more aggressive carbon bodywork, added horsepower, and a custom set of wheels and tires. And all they were asking for the package, which consequently didn’t include a donor Porsche Carrera GT, was $423,000!

Now it’s been fiveyears since we heard anything about the Mirage GT and its run of just five cars, and according to Gemballa, only two examples of the bodywork and tune are left! SO GET YOURS NOW! THEY ARE FLYING OFF THE SHELF! Oh wait, no they aren’t.

According to the tuning shop, it’s a real “collector’s item”, but I’m not so sure you would want to put a bunch of aftermarket cladding on a limited run supercar that is just skyrocketing in value at the moment.

The company also stated that it has a carbon edition package for the 918 Spyder that will be coming out very soon as well. Nevertheless, this time with only 25 copies to be had.

I’m not sure if they learned their lesson or not? What do you all think, would you spend an extra $423,000 on a body kit for your priceless supercar?
