Social influence is everything to companies like Ford, Ferrari, Pagani and just about every other luxury and non-luxury brand.

On Sunday, October 25th, ArtCenter College of Design hosted the 2015 Car Classic on the lawn of its picturesque campus. Each year, the event looks back at automotive culture and architecture by way of design, celebrating the best of automotive designers, many of whom graduated from ArtCenter.

Jay Leno is one of the current kings of all things automotive. His collection is massive. His knowledge base is unheard of. And his denim closet is enviable.

Remember that guy who’s face is on spaghetti sauce jars, bags of pop corn and salad dressing bottles? Most fans remember the Academy Award winning actor and philanthropist Paul Newman as the star of classic films like Hud, Cool Hand Luke, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
