The Yamaha PES2 Brings Two-Wheel Electric Drive to the Table
Yamaha didn’t get the memo that you’re not supposed to wear white after labor day, and we’re 100 percent okay with that. This is the Yamaha PES2 Electric Motorcycle Concept in all of its albino-tired glory.
The bike was released on a super weird 2015 Tokyo Motor Show sub-site, amidst creepy bug-eyed cats and poor spelling. As a follow-up to the PES1 (last photo below), the PES2 brings Yamaha one step closer to releasing a production electric motorcycle. There’s not much information on this guy, but it’s reportedly less than 220 pounds, has a single-sided front suspension, and that bulky thing up front is a second motor. That’s right, it’s two-wheel drive.
It also comes paired with the dirt-bike version, the PED2, which looks like oodles of fun, as well. More photos and information to come.
