Hi all, I just joined and was hoping someone might help me identify this. I believe it's a 356 luggage rack. I recently bought a house and found it in the basement and honestly don't know the first thing about vintage porsches. From what I've seen elsewhere online, the round bar on the wide end should be straight, so I'm not sure if it's damaged or maybe the way they were manufactured in a particular year. (The radius is centered, so it's tough to tell one way or the other.) Thanks for your help.

 

I'm not sure if they had a few different variations or not, but it certainly has some if the same markings as one. You might have a little better luck on the 356 registry.

 

There is a name tag on it on the second to bottom horizontal bar. I believe it's a LaMers, spelling.Looks good so it could be worth a few hundred.
