i'm going to have to agree with you on that.

there is just something about the car that you cant put your finger on that makes it so special.

yes, its a pain in the a** to get in and out of and yes it can be tempermental at times, but thats all a part of the mystique about the car.

all you have to do is drive it at night on some long windy back roads and you are instantly in love

 

In my opinion they are the worst of the tube frame cars, put a new beck next to a new thunderanch and the differences are astounding in terms of workmanship. Of course you can buy a painted Beck roller for 16K, 20k with a motor and any thunder ranch car is going to run at least 35K on spec.


I have owned pretty much all of the 356's replica that have been made over the years and restored a number of older kits and the above is only my personal opinion.
