Front Air Bags went Bye-Bye - 970TT

For the past two months I've had a problem with the suspension. Occasionally the suspension warning would pop up but more recently the Chassis Failure Alert came on. The buttons wouldn't work and it would just look dumped all the time. If I left it on for 10 minutes or so it would usually lift itself up.

Well there was residue all over the inside wheel housing from the leaky front struts. I called up Porsche for new ones... ... needless to say I started looking online for a better solution. I finally ran into Rebuild MasterTech. They refurbish the struts back to brand new condition using all brand new hardware. Each one comes out to around $750 each. And then just the labor. Since they don't have cores at the moment for our car I had to send mine in. I just finished sending them through FedEx overnight (they paid for it).

Crossing my fingers. Taking advantage of the situation to pull off the front bumper and get some fresh paint on it because of the little rock chips. Also re-installing my original headlights. I had the Black Headlight Kit on (they are for sale by the way: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-970blkhl.html). In case anyone was wondering the stock Spyder wheels were powdercoated in gloss black and have 15mm spacers all around. The car is Carbon Gray Metallic. She looks so naked.

Since you're repainting the bumper you may want to consider paint protection. Carbon grey is a great color.
