RIP Alex. You were a good friend to us all.

 

I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but anyone who loves cars and has surfed the internet for car-enthusiast related videos probably feels like they knew him personally. It's great to hear he was so personable in real life as anyone with such a larger than life personality could have easily ended up being a jerk.

Never met him but talked randomly through the forums. Years ago he had offered to test drive a 996 turbo I was looking at while deployed, ended up going with my current turbo. A very selfless guy, the auto enthusiast community lost a friend.
