Sad News about OUR ben lj, Ben Keatons.......
I cant believe I am reading this I chatted with Ben a few times and he was in Germany w. my uncle getting the Carrera GT tour and ride before they both got there cars...I am so so so sorry to hear this he was a great contributor with a beautiful daughter...my heart pours out to his family...does anyone know what happened?
It's things like this that make me want to give up on fast cars because they tempt us no matter what. Be it on the track or on the street, they make even the best of us take risks that just aren't necessary. I'm sure if Ben were given the opportunity, and I never met him, he'd trade all the nice cars and whatnot for more time with his family. THIS is the important stuff in life, not RWHP or lap times. We should all keep this in mind whenever we get behind the wheel. My condolences to his family and friends and may he rest in peace.
My heart and prayers go out to his lovely wife and daughter. I was lucky to have had the pleasure of spending some time with him a few years ago...
A tragic day for sure..
You will be missed Ben..
R.I.P.
And as you always said...
Go Canes!!!

What a tragedy. I didn't know Ben personally, but I read and enjoyed many of his posts on 6Speed and Rennlist. I am extremely sad to hear that he passed away.
My deepest sympathies to his family. RIP Ben!

I can't believe this has happened... it wasn't even long ago that I read one of his posts... always came across as a friendly guy.. no attitude. My deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and loved ones.
