Truly a loss
Truly a loss
Ben was beyond doubt one of the nicest gentlemen out there. Cars or not, Ben was always the first to greet people and treat everyone like a king. I remember at one of the Carlsbad outtings I had a couple of the local boys showing them the cars and Ben let them sit in the car and offered to take them for a ride. Most people would choke if these kids touched their cars, and here was Ben offering rides and letting the kids sit in a truly exotic car - that day will be remembered forever by the boys.
I was lucky enought to meet Ben's wife and baby on two occassions. My heart goes out to them - Ben was a young vibrant star - he was an inspiration to all of us and will be sorely missed.
The world is a little darker today.

I will never forget him. I was pretty much a stranger to him in February when he gave me a ride in his car at the Carlsbad show. I only knew him for 6 months and am amazed how much of an impact he has made on me. Long live his name and memory.
