Permanently Opening Sport Exhaust

For a Boxster Spyder….

I am tired of hitting the button "on" to make the car's sport exhaust louder. On my 911 all I had to do was pull a plug - but that was many years ago. I looked for a fuse to pull and nothing was labeled.

Thanks for the help!

I'm no "expert" but if the sport exhaust on the boxster works off of vacuum lines controlling valves that open and close similar to the PSE on more recent 991's, you can simply pull one of the vaccum lines and cap it. This will cause the system to remain in "loud" mode, and you shouldn't receive any warnings or alerts.

But if the system isn't the same.... someone smarter than I am will need to chime-in.

Good luck!
