Value of 1976 911?

Just curious, my dad payed 8k for it. It is in great condition.

I don't think you would find one for less money, not in great condition. He could sell and make money from what I'm seeing on autotrader and other places.

I'd consider 12k to 15k for my 1979 911SC. engine refreshed at 166k, body is good with 326k. obsessively maintained. all records kept. runs strong. very clean. fuchs, good tires, fabspeed, weltmeister, rotary a/c compressor. silver/black. porschephiles welcome to look. pics posted on 6speed.

Yep. "Excellent" condition could be 50% higher.

If you assume that the engine problems have been corrected, eight grand for a 911 in good condition is a nice Porsche entry point.
