Well congrats on the new car and welcome to the 6.
It was up at http://www.innerspacestorage.com/

They did a really good job of taking care of it up there. I'm not sure what she was paying for the storage but it was up there for 4 years while her and her husband were stationed in Germany.

The car was originally purchased here in the US which I'm sure you already knew but the car has been to Germany. My cousin and her husband had been stationed there before and they actually took the Porsche with them the first time and had the engine rebuilt while they were there. I thought that was pretty neat.

Looks like your wheels are 7&9X16 993 wheels either fully polished or chromed, if factory, they will have a part # inside the spokes.
I just shipped some deep 6s & 9X15s off to be refininshed, and you are correct, they are very pricy
Wow, thanks. I'm definitely going to look into those. If I get new wheels it will more than likely be in the spring time. I think you're right about what I have now and I they're chromed. The paint on the centers aren't any good and the chrome isn't in the best of shape either. I wonder if the wheels I have now have any kind or market or are worth anything. I'd hate for them to be laying around collecting dust.

Welcome to the 6. My first Porsche was a blk 78 911 SC. Fun car to drive, just remember don't ease up on the throttle going into a turn or you will face a rectal experience!

I've already been warned of that. A buddy of mine had to learn the hard way in his '71.

I'm not sure if 412 runs to Eureka Springs. I'm practically on the State Line of Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Well, I've decided that I'm going to sell my car. I've given it a lot of thought and this is the best thing for me to do right now. I just listed it on ebay and I think that I've got it priced to sell. I would've posted a new thread in the for sale section but since I don't have 100 posts I'm unable too.

Well, the car is giving me a bit of trouble with second gear so I've decided to go ahead and sell it since I really can't afford to maintain it. I've purchased something else to play with in place of this so I need to sell it. I have it on ebay if anyone is interested. Reserve is 8,000. Buy it now is 8,500 but if anyone here wants it now at 8,000 just pm or email me and tell me you saw it here.
