1987 911-what to look for?

What are the issues of a 22 yr old car to look for aside fom oil leaks, weatherstripping etc ? (prior to a PPI I mean) Thx Nummy

The 87-89 3.2's a pretty bullet proof car. A couple things you may want check for. Some had an issue with premature valve guide ware that showed itself around 60,000 miles. Check the rear sway bar mounts they have a tendency to break where they are welded to the body. They did come with a rubber centered clutch which did not last as long as new type clutches. Look for any rust surface or other wise, body damage or signs of a respray (overspray on rubber etc.) Hope this helps.
