First off let me introduce myself. I am new here @6speed, my name is Calvin. Now to the topic of this thread.

I have a project car that I've been working on. It's a 74 911, that's been converted to a 993TT convertible. I am running a 3.3 turbo motor, but I am not sure which type of transmission to put into the car. I've been told by some ppl that for the best power I should use the 4 speed turbo trans that comes in the 930 Slant Nose. But there are some people telling me I should go with a G50 trans. I know the 4 speed turbo trans is hard to get.

The reason why I need advice is cause, I know this guy that has a 1974 911 and running with a 3.6 turbo. He wants to race me for pink slip (not street racing). I am guessing he's prolly got over 500hp under the hood. So what do I need to do to possibly have a chance at beating this guy?
