Advice Needed; 2003 911 4s

Considering buying a used 2003 911 4s with milage in the low 40k. Looks to be in pretty good condition. I was just wondering how maintenance is on this car and what I can expect from it.

you should have the car inspected mechanically and checked for accident.

if it is well kept, it will be reliable and fun. maint is not too bad, about 500-1500 a year. if major things break, you may be out a couple grand. if it's a manual, you may need a clutch in the next 20k miles. this is why a good inspection ($350-400) is important. lastly, look for interior wear. it generally tells how well the car is treated. look for oil leak under the engine, known as rear main seal (RMS) leak.
