I was wondering if some folks could give me their thoughts, pros/cons of having a 911 as an everyday commuting car.

I currently drive about 40 minutes, 4 days a week, of which 20 minutes are back roads and 20 minutes are highway.

I am board as all hell with my current car, and I want something fun.

I am looking at an older 911, something in the 2001-2003 range, with 50k or less miles.

I would love to get some opinions, thanks in advance!

 

I don't own a 911, but if you use your common sense you maybe in for one nice commute!!!!

Been using mine as a daily driver for over 15-years and I can't tell you how enjoyable it really is! A blast every single day! Never any issues.

 

With proper maintenance the 911 is a great daily commuter and we have many clients who love to drive their Porsche on a regular basis.

 

If you are dealing with intense traffic, you will love this commute...

 

Must have had a glass when I posted.. I meant If you are "not" dealing with intense traffic, you will love that commute!

well if you got an auto, traffic wouldn't matter. it is about as comfortable as it gets for a sports car.
