Just picked up this 79 911SC and couldnt be more excited. Never been a fan of the whale tail so I have a oem deck lid spoiler delivering tomorrow along with some chrome headlight rings and durant style mirrors to give it a more dated look. The car is also getting some TLC right now and having the torsion bars adjust to drop it down a smidge. I will post more pics as this build evolves. As with all my cars the tunning bug has struck and I am going full speed on this project.

 

Congratulations!! It surely is a beauty, good call on the OEM deck lid. Were you looking for a while? Mileage?

 

Thanks. The whale tail is pretty if you have the backside to match. Been looking for a little over a year now and the mileage is 121k miles and two owner.

Just picked up the car today from All Euro Car Care happy to have it back. It needed a little more work then I was expecting but it's home and ready to be driven. I will post some pics this weekend.

I just picked up a 79 SC 58k miles. Super exited, I think more so then I was when I bought my 996tt.

She needs some good cleaning as she was a track car for a bit, also has no interior. My plans are unstable right now, either a lot of go or diet her up more and do up suspension. Hmmm

Blockhed the car looks excellent just drive the crap out of it for awhile and go from there. Blacking out the mirrors and headlight rings would look pretty cool tho.
