Best Porsche Chase of All Time?
So, Against All Odds might not be the best movie ever made. It does, however, feature one sweet car chase. Our writer Colin put together a post about it on the blog here.
Take a much younger version of The Dude, and drop him in a Porsche 911 Cabrio. Then take that guy that Family Guy always talks about and drop him in a Ferrari 308 GTS. Finally, turn the year back to 1984. Stick it all in a blender, and what do you get? You get a street race for the ages from an age where movie races were still about the cars, not the carnage.

There's nothing like the sound of a Ferrari. Although I did see something I just couldn't believe on Sunset (just east of where this scene was filmed) Thursday. I saw a man cruising a new 458 Italia with the top off, wearing a pair of orange earplugs on a string… WHO E-FIN' DOES THAT!?
For pure motor sound, give me the 308… there's nothing like it!
