So my girlfriend is looking at getting an older 911. Like 2004-2006. I'm a little weary of it cuz she's spending like $30k on a 10 to 12 year old car with 70-100k miles. I don't know much about Porsches as far as reliability and maintenance costs. I was hoping you guys could help.

1.) What problems might she run into with it being that high mileage? Are 911's reliable at that age?

2.) I read on here that brake jobs are like $1000. What do you spend on your 911 yearly for maintenance?

Our SC has been in the family for the past 26 years, lowest maintenance cost vehicle we have ever owned. That is, provided you take care of maintenance yourself. Only one big job after purchase, than was taken care of by a respected wrench who was Porsche factory trained. Life is great in the slow lane, no matter how fast you take it through the curves in the hill country.
