Door pockets

My 42 year old door pockets are shot. Bought the fiberglass updated pockets and they don't seem to fit right. Anybody on here replace theirs with the fiberglass versions and is there a trick to getting them to fit right or will they all be off as they are not as flexible as the OEM versions.

I ordered a carpeted fiberglass pocket from Auto Atlanta but after a month of waiting and zero contact after a dozen emails I called up and they said they had no idea when they could fulfil the order or if they ever will, canceled the order. Ordered a pair from eBay, Mr. Fiat and got it but it did not fit correctly so I decided to try and fix the door pocket. I used JB wood weld to fill in the missing carboard. Allowed it to dry for a day or so and then sanded it down and glued the carpet back over the JB weld. When it was completely dried was able to spray it black and put a screw thought it into the door pocket end and mount it. So far it seem to have held
