Please recommend a good source for 70-73 911?

Guys,

I'm interested in buying one of these early model cars. I just love them. Can anyone recomend a good source for one of these cars? I'm looking from 70-73 911. I'd love a targa but a coupe is good as well. I figure the best place is a specialty shop of some kind. Thanks

Pritam

Try the pelicanparts.com classifieds section, or www.early911sregistry.com. European locators is a good source for the east coast. Where are you located?

I don't see any early 911s in their current inventory, but the guy at europeanlocators.com is in your area and may be very helpful in your search. Otherwise, continue to scope out the classifieds posted above, and you'll come up with something. Pelican is pretty high on those early cars, and a "wanted" ad might turn up a few leads.

If you have any questions down the road, I'll be happy to help. I'll also keep my eyes out for a nice example in the northeast.

Try Recycler.com It's a free newspaper out of the Los Angeles area. Hence, lots of good priced cars (keep looking for a few weeks) it's updated every Thursay I believe. Also, you can try Orangecountysportscartrader.com or OCtrader.com lots of Porsche in there! Good luck.

Check Hemmings, too. Also, ads in AutoWeek work very well. You never know who you might tempt to sell their baby...
