Will 9" fit on an 87?

I will be picking up an 87 with the original Fuchs still on the car. Can these be substituted for the same style but a 7" front, 9" rear sizing without flares? Anybody have a before and after shot of their car like this?

Thank you

Yes they fit.

No before and after shot, but it's a very common fitment. I had 9s with 265 V710s on the back, and even they cleared at low ride height with a good amount of camber. 245s on 9s have been no problem on either of my 911s, or my friend's '87- lots of clearance. 951 8" fuchs can also fit up front for 8s and 9s if you can find a set, but you should still probably not plan to go wider than 225s up front, and even those will rub in some brands (hoosiers).

Absolutely they fit. I had 7" front and 8" rears x 16 for 20 years. Last year I bought forged 9 x 16 Fuchs from Wheel Enhancement for the rear and had them refinished with polished outers and painted black cores. I fitted them with 245x45's and they look and ride great. One thing that you will have to check out is your oil return line from the oil tank, it may have to be relocated. I had to have mine relocated when I lowered the car, so when I installed the 9 x 16's there was no interference. You will probably have to get your car realigned, as stated above, with more camber to allow the top of the wheel to clear the fender well.

You can also fit 951 8's in front if you want bigger wheels all around.
