Hey it's one of those faster than better handling than 911 cars that no one talks about! Awesome car! I love the 944. It's a technical masterpiece that still can best most new cars(including P-cars with a little modification) on the track! Good luck with it!

It was consistently rated as the best handling car of it's time. Perfect 50/50 weight distribution with the engine in the front and the tranny in the back. That was the car that I lusted after in high school.

Better handling than the same era 911? I think its a lot easier to control with its 50/50 distribution. I dont know if it is "better"...maybe just "easier". I did take some tight turns and it is close to the 964 but Im not sure what tires are on the 2 cars. Overall I think it had a lot to go before completetly losing grip. I think I even scared my friend when I was going just a little faster around an "S" curve

Some 924 turbos I beleive have the hood scoop. Its possible to put a hood scoop on after market though.
