It's time to change the timing belt on the 89 GT. I'm not one to waste an opportunity to fire up the grill and drink a beer with my fellow 928 enthusiasts so let's make it a party. Since I'm a timing belt virgin, I contacted my friend John Pirtle who wrote the book (http://members.rennlist.com/pirtle/svc.html) on the subject. We'll be starting on Friday the 27th and will hopefully finish sometime Saturday. I think I'll add a Porkensioner while I'm in there. The lift will be available for anyone that has a need to use it. Come join us and learn, teach or just enjoy the company of friends.
