This one looks very promising. It'll probably be difficult to schedule a PPI between now and the time the auction ends, but maybe a call in to Steven Kaspar at Imagine Auto will get you the low down.

I have no affiliation, but looks like a great car in a nice exterior color and a decent interior (the burgundy does not photograph too well, it is nowhere near that light, it's actually quite dark and tranquil) with choice mods. Just throw on a K27 and go

I am starting to get the 930 fever again. Went by Vortex Motorsports the other day and drooled over a black/black 930.

Actually Zach's silver beast gave me the fever a few months back.

If anyone is seriously interested in the car, you can PM either Stephen (porschephd) or myself for any info we have on the work performed.

New Orleans

85RUFHAUS- Only the 9th ward was underwater. Believe me that area of New Orleans was not home to any Porsches.

This car looks nice. I had an 87 with the same color combo. The burgundy leather kinda grows on you. Long story short, it was stolen in 99. I have an 89 930 now and really like the 5 speed G50/50 over the old 4 speed. Personally, I would hold out for an 89. Happy New Year!

New Orleans

I have been to New Orleans at least twice since the levy broke. We toured the 9th ward and the entire city.

I would love to start the new year with a 930 turbo or a older 911. I have been checking the internet for available cars. There is a red/blk 1986 930 on Pelican Parts that looks good to me,60.000 miles, 3rd owner, motivated seller, in Ohio. I'm reading Peter Zimmermanns, The Used 911 Story now, what a great book for someone looking at older used Porsches.
