My first Porsche, a 1987 930
Rob, I'm seeing you sniffing around the air cooled Porsche forums quite a bit lately. Hmmmmm..
Brian, that was an excellent write up and choice of machines!! I especially like the way you credit your father for your passions. My father was the same with me and he will forever be my best friend!! I too, will see him again one day.... Enjoy your 930 in the best of health and spirits.. Kenny
Well I've already done some personalizing. Dropped it a little, a new front bumper, a K&N intake, and a new set of HRE 560R's (18"x9" front, 18"x11" rear) thanks to Mike and Brian at Stuttgart Performance in Costa Mesa, CA. The shoes are Yokohama AD08 245/40/18, 295/30/18

Beautiful car and great choice. My dad pulled the trigger on a 930 last summer with similar specs to yours: 3.4l conversion, k27s, a very large upgraded intercooler, RUF suspension. While he has not had it dyno'd, he was informed that it puts out about 450-500hp. It's funny that you mention your reaction following your test drive. My dad's was almost identical and he signed the papers for it the next day! Enjoy it in good health.
Very nice! Those wheels looks sweet!
I just bought a red 1987 930 this past Sunday...welcome to the dark side
