What about this one?

It says "full conversion in Germany, everything original"

I haven't experienced an old Porsche. I know will be quite different than my 996 but i wonder if it worth to buy such an old car. 500+hp... Sounds somewhat faster than my 4s, at least on a straight line...

yes i know. but it doesnt say anything more than these i described. It refers mostly on equipment (wheels, electric seats)
I just want to hear opinions from some body who have driven an 80s turbo powered Porsche and how this compared to a modern Porsche
In other words, assuming that this is a full conversion and car is in good shape, is it worth to buy? Or should i go for a 996 TT for example?

I have an 89 turbo cab all original. Just because the conversion was done in Germany does not mean anything. They have lousy mechanics in Germany to. Unless it was done at the Porsche factory I would run the other way. The car is fun to drive totally different than my 2005 turbo S Cab. I like the viseral power and feel of my 89 while my son loves the 2005 because it is smooth and the linerer acceleration of the 2005. The 89 is a handful, no power steering no safety devices like anti lock brakes etc. You need to drive one before you commit to buy one.

What about sound and consumption? I ve heard that single charged turbos have terrible mileage

So what! If you buy a turbo you will get lousy gas mileage especially if it is modified. You are talking about 80's technology I get about 16-18 miles per gallon. The sound is fine you can always put an aftermarket exhaust and headers and gain about 45HP

45 hp more than stock with headers and exhaust. Add light weight flywheel and the turbo lag is reduced
