I had a fun little encounter in Atlanta yesterday on 285 with a 996 turbo convertible and a black 930 turbo. Both cars were fast but the the 930 was shooting a 2 ft flame out of the back whenever he got out of the throttle. It was awesome! Don't know a lot about 930s since I am a 997 turbo guy but damn that was cool! Might have to get one of those one day.

 

He's prolly got her set up a little rich and when he gets outta of the throttle the unburnt fuel makes it into the headers and gives the flame thrower effect...

We like our 930s but that's usually not the reason cuz we never get to see it

I know those guys. Did a drive with them and a few other guys at Motorcars of Atlanta a few months ago. If I can find I've got a video of that car shooting flames out!! Pretty cool stuff.

 

I remember following a 930 one day and the guy got on it, shot some flames and his bumper proceeded to catch fire..no good.
