Future Value of the 1975 Turbo
Has anyone thought where the early non-US imported 1975 Turbos will be in a few years. I noticed Magnus Walker had one in red. Is there collector value in these or is there something else. Will this be a $200,000 car in 2 years . I can't read the porsche bubble, not sure that everything that goes up will stay up. The top is bringing up the bottom in Ferrari, Porsche, etc.
Any for sale here in America.

Thanks Dan, I do like that color combination. A bit rich for my collection at the moment for sure. You may have to do some trading with Magnus Walker. I helped him find a red 1975 Turbo last year, RHD.

Yes I just saw that he bought one in Oz. He called about 2 years ago inquiring about mine. Not sure how he got my number, but I still had a ways to go. Do you know what he paid for his? The cars are so rare now, and such an icon that I cant see why they wouldn't be closer, price wise, to a 73rs touring.
p.s. I am almost done with this 77. Originally silver, decided to have some fun and went signal green. Fully restored from a 100% original car.

Dan,
I can't remember the price. I use to have the page kept, but it was a car that belonged to F1 world champion, supposedly, Alan Jones.
I don't think the paid much more than $115,000
Funny thing is we emailed back and forth for month , me and Magnus, and then he finally gets the car. Tell everyone that he found it himself by looking in the Ads in Australia, funny, he quit writing to me after I asked him if it was indeed an Alan Jones car, and was glad he got it. But, he never said anything back to me. Next time I see Him I will ask him if he saw my emails.
But, he wrote that he was looking all over the place for a '75 turbo, and could not find one, I found this one in a matter of hours. There is another one in black in the Netherlands I saw about 3 months ago. Again I just don't remember the price. As I am not in the market for overseas car.

75 t
Funny how big shots and rich kids are😬. The cars are out there for sale. But, getting original, n.o.s. parts are extremely difficult/expensive. The last 75 I saw sold went for 200k, but needing resto at 125k or so. 325k for a great car and 2 years work.
Thanks for your input. Have a great Porsche day...
