Question on value if I decided to sell?
I have an 01 with 15k and mint condition. I have owned the car for under 2 years and now getting married next week and my future wife isn't a fan of the car. She's not asking me to sell it but would just prefer not ride in it very often. This leaves me wondering how much use it will get moving forward. I changed the coils, plugs at 11k, added a Kline 3" exhaust, tune by Sambo and short shifter. Odd she grew up in Germany and her father had a Porsche as well, but she thinks it feels every bump in the road and is noisy with the exhaust.
I have no desire to sell the car but would be curious to see what value it may be worth if I actually contemplate selling it.

Not a good start - like training a dog, you have to establish who the alpha in the pack is going to be. Tell her she doesn't have to ride in it at all if she doesn't want to - problem solved.

Again she isn't telling me to sell but if she never rides in it and I can't drive it for work it leaves me minimal amount of time driving the car. And I was married once so I understand the route of not letting anyone dictate what I do.
Currently I take the car whenever I am not at work, but now it would leave me as my car that gets me to the gym daily which is about 2 miles away. The car needs more use than 1500 miles a year.

i NEVER screwed up my 911's though! ( well.. there was that one )
i can see if one were having a kid or needing cash etc. no harm/shame in that.. but that guys car is too clean to sell LOL.
back OT.. i'm lousy with prices and contrary to what i've been saying ad nauseum, prices DO seem to be rising! and given the low miles and how well kept it looks? id say 42/45 ( if a 6spd ) at RETAIL w RIGHT buyer. 01's are the least sought after, so that needs to be taken into account. but 15k?! is LOW miles. geez.

No kidding, enjoy it. If you're tired of the car that's one thing, but if you still like it this is a no brainier. I have a primary work vehicle so my driving is limited to errands or the occasional country beating. I look for any excuse to drive it, and the fact that its not my dd keeps it feeling new and fun to drive. If she dosnt like the car who cares, it's yours. If you get rid of it, it will turn into resentment or you'll end up buying her the car she wants, or the house, furniture, granite, vacation etc. hang on to it. The fact she never rides in it is a plus. I have to fight the wife for the keys sometimes.
Btw what car is she bringing into the marriage? (Please don't say Prius).

I got divorced a few years ago. The car was a present to myself coming out of that financial mess. And again considering selling the car has nothing to do with her. She is not asking me to sell anything. I am just seeing the car not being driven often enough since she would rather not take the car when we go out. So this would be my decision if I choose to sell or not. I have no desire but if it isn't driven either it doesn't make financial sense for me to keep it either.
And her car is the same as my work car-an Infiniti.

if you had to park it? i'd rather do that and keep it and given the low miles perhaps it;ll actually go up in value. IF ( and only if ) you keep in under 20k miles.
thats it! park your money in a parked turbo lol

If you just wanna know how much you could get just ask and leave the story behind.
I think you could get close to 50 with that color and the miles, especially if you take it back to 100% stock.
As for the wife issue, I used to have a 2 seater sports car before I got married as a pleasure vehicle. wife hinted for me to sell after we got married and even more after we started having kids. Cars keep me grounded and is my pastime and make me happy.
She knows that now and supports my hobby, she doesn't ride in it often but when we get a sitter and do the couple thing she has no problem getting in for dinner or whatever.
Don't become Al Bundy, if you want to sell it for other reasons go ahead, but everyone on here is gonna tell you not to sell it for a woman, especially such a nice looking vehicle.
