whats an 88 930 worth?

First question I have for you guys is a transmission related one. I have a car that belongs to one of my customers that he wants help selling. It's an 88 930, Guards/Black, 81K miles, 993 wheels, nice car, but it has the old four speed. I thought all 88's had the G50 . Can anyone enlighten me on this? Also if you could give me an idea of fair market value, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

G50's were only available in the 89 930's and 88 and up Carrera's before the 6speeds came along. So, this car has the right transmission in it.
Mid twenties to mid thirties depending on condition.

G50 offered in '89 only on 930 turbo and '87-'89 on 3.2 Carrera.

From the limited info you provided, that car is probably worth somewhere in the high-20s.

It would prob sell better with Fuchs still on it.

A low condition 88 should go for 26,000.
A good condition 88 should go for 29,000.
An excellent condition 88 should go for 39,000.
Hard to say what condition the car you are asking about is worth. I always like to think positive..."A car is worth what someone is willing to pay."

Exhaust Guy, You are probably looking in the mid-twenties especially with the turbo twist on the machine and not the Fuchs.. The transmission is correct as I mentioned when I was at your Home, it is supposed to be a four speed... "I told you so", Damn, I've always wanted to do that.....
