It turned faster laps than the car it replaced (below) despite having nearly 150hp less.

Here's the car as it was at Rennsport II under new ownership.

That's "Mr Fabcar" Dave Klem making a point.

I answered a few questions for them about ill fitting bodywork since I had some history with it a long while ago.

The car never came close to it's ultimate potential.

Earlier in the day, I was on pit lane next to porsche #1 looking at a very dinged up 356 coupe with some sort of spare tire kit on the roof and was sighting down the wavy side when a pair of race suited legs came into view.

I said "man, this thing looks like it was dragged out of a barn" to the pair of legs and a familiar voice said "a chicken coop!!...it came out of a chicken coop!!".

I stood up and was face to face with Jerry Seinfeld who owned it.

He later took porsche #1 out for a spin.

Sweet!!!

I was always partial to putting 924 vented front on the 944 but I like yours better.

I love both sets... The champion's are lighter, but the RUF's are BIGGER!

Not quite a 500E , but yes it's mine too....

My 951.... I've gone through many cars and this one is still one of my favorites.

Pictures with NB 996 spec Work Brombachers 19x8.5f 19x11r. I'm running 245/35/19 up front & 305/30/19 rears with minimal rubbing.

It was really nice of porsche to fit the 944 with cavernous wheelwells.

Beefy tires really wake it up.
