Low miles and excellent condition examples I've seen had over 25k asking price.

You can ASK whatever you want...what you get is what I said. I know I bought a 33k mile 951S that was perfect in every way for 17k 5 months ago. He wanted more but the market ( me with cash) said 17k. BTW a S is far more valuable than a regular 951, in particular with Mo30 and limited slip which the 86's didn't have even as options. Also as I have learned low miles doesn't mean much in terms of maintenance as I have spent another 5k on seals, waste gates , gaskets etc etc etc etc.....still 25 years old plus.

I only stated my opinion from what I've seen and I look at them frequently. I know 951's very well and have owned two since 1993. My current 951 is a turbo S and have owned it since 2002. I am no expert on pricing at all.

Here's a report you can use.

Keep in mind excellent condition cars are hard to find.

Here's one you can do a comparison with.

I've definitely seen a up-market for clean, low mileage Porsche 944 Turbos.
