930 bought!

I ended up buying a 1978 930 turbo. I spent a lot of time searching for the right car and test drove a bunch of 996tt which were all very FAST. The 965s were also very fast and still gave you the old school feeling, but then I decided to try a tricked out 78 930 - k29 RUF turbo, RUF cam, 100mm Mahle pistons and barrels to make it a 3.5L engine putting out around 450hp, and it had the look I wanted with 345 wide tires in the back. After putting the solid engine mounts on it I have to say of all the turbos I've driven, this one feels and sounds most like a race car. I don't regret the trade one bit. Although my 996 c4 was a lot cheaper to maintain.
