15" wheels on a stock 964 turbo?

I have always wanted the really wide tire look of the classic 930 turbo with 15x11 gold trim BBS RS wheels on the rear with the 345/35/15 tires... I finally bought those wheels...now I just need a car to put them on.

My question is:
Is there a way to fit these on a 1991 964 Turbo with all stock components? Will 15inch go over the 91 brake calipers/rotors? Are the wheel wells deep enough to handle an 11" wheel? Any experts out there...advice is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, you're going to need to buy a 930. (Which came with 16" wheels from the factory). Folks would go for the wide 15"s, but I personally prefer a 16" BBS RS on the 930.

You have to admit the 345/35/15 looks pretty sweet. I think I will probably end up going with a 930...some day.

Did you buy it from Morries Bentley Maserati in MN? If so, that car is sweet and has some great mods. I have seen it in person and it's super clean. Congrats on a great deal!

Yes! That's the one I bought. Glad to hear you know the car. How do you know it? I'm interested in hearing anything you know about it. I'm actually still waiting for it to be delivered.

I run the Minneaplis Cars & Cafe' show here in MN every month. I know pretty much every special car in MN. lol They have brought the car by the show a couple of times. I also live about 10 min from the dealer so I have seen it there a few times.
From what I know, it has 15" BBS's (just how you like it), a built 3.5l motor with some ruf cams and some other parts. It is very clean in and out. Sounds great, starts right up, doesn't smoke etc. You bought the car from the best place possible here in MN. Great group and they only take in very special cars.

Thanks for the info. That is very reassuring. I. Have never bought a car sight unseen before. I did get a Porsche dealer to do a PPI and it checked out with the usual 30yr old car probes. I'll post detailed pics and initial impressions later this week. I get it on Thursday.
