964 Turbo....Bosch H4's with HIDS Installed

So Folks,

Got the car back after been refreshed at Hairy Dog Garage in CT and my God, it feels like a new car.

Anyways, while the car was at Dan Jacobs, I brought up the night time visibility which seems to be the inherent problem of all 964's.

Baron (Dan's son) instantly recommended, with out any reluctance, upgrading H5's to H4's with HIDs.

The proposal wasn't cheap but I knew if there's some one who could do it, would be them, so I OK'd it and boy, am I glad I did the swap

The first picture is wife's '07 BMW 530 i with HIDS and the next 2 are the 964 with H4's/HIDS. It's hard to tell the difference.

I also brought up how vague the transmission felt and once again Baron recommended modifying the stock rod and boy does the transmission feels great now. Though the shifts are not any shorter but they are lot more precise and finding the gates are much easier now.

Let me put it this way, with this transmission rod mod, the car is not only fun to drive now but you also want to drive this car every day now.
