I'm looking at the current options on the 991 TT and the only option I see with deviating in it is deviating stitching on the steering wheel. Was there such an option on the configurator when you bought the car?
All the stitching options are what is called "Z-options" and are available only to dealers, and not the online configurator. Not sure what other Z-options there are.

Apparently only the full red interior is available for the first production run. Cannot modify the leather nor any cross stitching. This would be a little too red for me. I've decided to go with the brown Napa leather since this would show some contrast in the stitching. Thanks for all of your input.

I like the black/red combo. To me the all red is horrendous. Red carpet to me is a definite no.

I had terracotta on my white 997.2S and liked it . Back then I looked at both the red and the terracotta side by side and just could not digest the red . it's simply too bright . Even the teracotta (no longer offered but can be special ordered) is rather bright and it was not my first color choice but the deal at the time landed a car in my garage . It grew on me over time.

On a white Turbo I somewhat like the agate/pebble two tone .
Second choice would be the common black and add red seat belts and carbon (I actually have this on my Boxster S).

Red is not my last choice .. beige is the bottom !!

Black is classy. Red is just in your face to me but it all depends on the style of the individual.. Black with a carbon package is sick..

Red works well when 2-tone (black) with dev. stitching and when accompanied with lots of CF bits.

You may regret it when trading the car in a few years from now. Smaller pool of buyers for sure. Not everyone's cup of tea.

Some black mats would probably help to break that up a bit

white with red is my favorite combo. I would do black carpets and some interior panels in white as well as white stitching.

Red interior could narrow the interested market, but for those who are looking for it are likely to be willing to pay a premium. I know I would.

I'm looking at the Turbo options sheet at the moment and there is such an option:

Interior Leather
998 Leather interior in natural leather (Expresson/Carrera Red) xxxxx
Exception in Steering Wheel Rim, Sun Visors and Inner Door-Sill Guards xxxxx

xxxx is the price. On the left hand side, there's no dot next to Turbo, just a dot on Turbo S. Perhaps it's only available on Turbo S. I don't believe its the 2-tone black/red combination on the TTS because that option is above this option already.

Does anyone know what this is and does anyone have any pics?

This would be a great way to break up the Red in the interior.

Personally I love the red interior. My only suggestion would be to consider deviated stitching options in black and opt for the deviated carpet option of black. Last I was aware you have to option the black carpet with red interior but it is well worth the cost; as it really makes the interior pop! My 997TT cab is black exterior with the red interior as described. E combo is sexy but not feminine... Everyone love it!
