Turbo S Wheel or Burmester?

I am in the market for a Turbo but I have little love for the standard Turbo wheel. I like the Turbo S wheel much more.

Yet at the same time, I am keep reading the web about how great the Burmester is over the Bose.

Some of my concerns over the Burm:
1. Since it will be engine + music all the time, the Burm quality will be diluted somewhat I'm guessing. I won't listen to the Burm when the engine is off.
2. I will be listening to mp3's 99% of the time via an iPod.

If you had 1 choice only, would you take the Burmester or the Turbo S wheel?
(I know it's bit of an apples to oranges comparison).

This might not help, I learned a long time ago that any upgrade stereo in a sport car is pointless for me because I don't listen to music while driving. For the Porsche, I listen to that sport exhaust that I paid $3k for . No idea what the turbo/S will sound like. I prefer the wheel on the S too, it goes better with the design.

+1. standard stereo in a sport car should be fine.
I too rarely listen to the radio. My focus is on driving and hearing the exhaust.

I would get the Berm and wait for a used set of Turbo S wheels...

Get neither, then sell the stock wheels for a set of aftermarket wheels and get a new muffler.

"Upgrading" to TT-S wheels requires going to center locks right? That in itself is a huge difference, I'd stick w/ the tried and true 5 lugs and just go aftermarket.

If I HAD to choose, choose Burm and buy some HRE's. But I agree, I rarely listen to radio. I want to hear exhaust and road. Hate to say it, but when I drive the 997tt, I am driving very aggressively, so I am also listening for problems that I can react to, cant do that with the radio up.

Correct, the TTS wheels have center locks.

I have heard the Burm in a Pana GTS and it is amazing but I'm sure the BOSE will be fine for your needs - go with the wheels.

Even tho the price is a rip, i always pony for the burmeister, like most i dont use it on high speed runs like next weeks to WY, but when i go to the office in BH i crank edm and its markedly better than bose.
