Hello,

Was at the IAA frankfurt motor show yesterday, and saw this nice Turbo S from porsche exclusive, black interior with yellow stitching, black exhaust tips (not sure if they all come in black or thats an option?) and the 50th anniversary rims painted black, actually i like the finish of the rims more than the one on the 50th anniversary

Saw the first Picture. Are those rims the 20" Fuchs wheels? That and the Sunroof is in full glass? Very, very well executed. Yellow is my absolute, Superlative, favorite color. It's just in the States they tend to call it "Please Pull Me Over Yellow.

Yup those are the 20" Fuchs... now an option in the configurator. The black tailpipes are exclusive (thus far) to the Turbo S.

Just love the black rims with the exterior colour lips! I wonder if that is a Porsche Exclusive option? Black rims goes fantastic with red, yellow or white IMO.

Actually upon closer inspection, those rims are painted black and the silver is just left intact.

What I thought I saw was something like this:

Do you see the yellow lining near the outside of the wheel? The image is taken from Techart, but do you know if Porsche does anything similar to their rims besides just paint them black or platinum silver?

On an additional note, do you see this guy's black Turbo S rims? On the configurator, there's no option to paint them black. Aftermarket?

I saw the pictures of the Turbo with black CL wheels yesterday and was wondering the same. I'm not sure, but as far as I know Porsche can do anything you want, as long as you pay for it.
The yellow pinstripe on the techart car looks very nice. Better than the silver that porsche does.

This car is a Porsche Exclusive car in PTS Mexico blue with the wheels painted and a pinstripe in mexico blue, so I guess they will do that for you if you ask. Your local Porsche Exclusive department should know...

Bingo! Right on the money as usual Suzy . Yeah, I will talk to my local sales girl and see what she has to say. It might be rim specific as well because I've only seen instances of the wheel you attached with the colour pinstripe (Carrera S wheel I think). Never seen it on other Porsche rims, so it might not be doable say on the TTS wheel for example. I will raise this with them on my next visit.

Please let us know what you find out. I'd love to get the light housing in black instead of silver...

On the Turbo S that isn't possible (yet) that car comes standard with the LED headlights. The Panamera has the option for black LED headlight units, so I expect that option to be available on the Turbo S and all other models in the next couple of months. Maybe for MY2015...
On the Turbo you can get the PDLS Bi-xenon headlights in black.

i am not very sure, but i was in the factory last week doing a tour in stuttgart, and i asked if porsche paints the rims or they come painted from the supplier, and was told they all come painted from the supplier and thats why sometimes some finishes and colors are not available in certain times due to the unavailability from the supplier

but maybe porsche can do a special order from the suppliers? or they can be painted in the Exclusive section they have? i wanted to go in the exclusive section so bad but was told its very hard to get a permission to see the place and that i have to arrange for it in advance
