I agree with your preference. Always think that the bold colors belong on track cars. When you see them in traffic, they look awkward. That is why Porsche, I believe, imposes a surcharge for the GT Silver and Lime Gold (not to mention custom) colors. This caters to the bespoke crowd, who want exclusivity and distinctness in their car, along with lots of leather and carbon fiber. It's also why the exterior aluminum trim option exists. I have that on my car, and it adds a luxury flourish.

 

Yes that is absolutely true. It's also the nice thing about a 911... There's a flavour for every (almost) taste.

These pictures were taken in Holland at Porsche Centrum Gelderland, but I think this particilar car is making a tour around dealerships in Europe. It's the actual car that is photographed in the Exclusive brochure for the 991 Turbo (which is actually not available yet, but I've seen it at porsche exclusive in zuffenhausen)
The clear taillights and the interior are not completely my taste, but overall the car looks good. The interior is agate with some parts (parts of the seats, instrument cluster, decklid between the seats) in lime gold leather.

I've got the optionlist of this particular car in PDF. It costs €250k ($325k) in the Netherlands.

How does one actually provide these sample of the custom color? Comp specs or a physical sample?

I am interested in doing this but not sure how to proceed?

 

Porsche has a list with various feasible colors, where you can choose from, or you can request a custom color that's not on the list. Porsche will check if your requested color is feasible and if so, they can paint your car in that color. However, this process can easily take a year or more and a lot of dollars
Best thing for you to do is contact PCNA's exclusive department about this and discuss the possibillities with them.

Here's a kinda special looking Turbo S, someone spotted in Holland today.
It has some painted parts, I've not seen yet (air intake blades, side intakes) and it has GT3 wheels.
