991 GT3 Wheels On Turbo S

Hi guys, IMHO I think it looks gorgeous if you retrofit the Turbo S with GT3's wheels. Not only that the GT3's rear wheels are half an inch wider / 12"X20 as opposed to 11.5"X20 on the Turbo S. Only downside is I think a set of GT3 wheels costs a bomb. Cheers mate!

I agree . Is it an option to preorder with the GT3 rims ? Is there any fitting issues (technically) ?

I was wondering the same thing as well. Going to call the dealer today and see if it can be done. I'm not a big fan of the stock wheels coming on our turbo s. If it can, I will let you guys know what the price is.

Must be a common notion as I was thinking the same thing as well. I like the GT3 in white with it's wheels, but the white TTS does not look as good with it's standard rims.

Looking forward to hear more on this....

Got a call back today, they talked to Porsche USA and they said they cannot put the GT3 wheels on the turbo s because it would mess with the rear wheel steering in the turbo s

The AWS works differently on the Turbo S & the GT3. The Turbo S AWS can vary up to 2.8 degree depending on what speed the car is doing. GT3 is up to 1.5 degree. So yes indeed it will screw up the Turbo S's AWS if the GT3 wheels are fitted. One can opt for the 5 nut Classic wheels which is now offered on the Turbo S as no cost option. It has the same size as the std rear Turbo S wheels - 12"X20.
Cheers!
