Agreed - black. Black center with chrome lip on a multi-piece design or all black. Center lock ring an offset color.

White and black is a classic look... you've never been one to run with the masses though. I'm guessing something a little 'different' is in the works.

Project Cars are what makes the Vivid Racing brand famous and/or infamous. There are times when we straight nail it, and this is one of those times. With our old 997.2 Turbo S sporting the white body with blue chrome Niche wheels, we were just in love with that style and combo look. So we pulled together this new combo of white and red. The wheels that come on the Turbo are 5×130 19 inch but we optioned for the Turbo S centerlock 20 inch wheels. So keeping the centerlock raciness, we looked to our wheel partner, Niche Wheels, the true industry maker of the forged wheel industry for a sweet setup on our 991 Turbo. We took the wheel size one step further and did 21×9 and 21×12 setup with their multi-piece design. Why 21 inch? Well we are not the first to do this. It does blow our mind that we are putting 21′s on a sports car. But the same was thought when the 997.1 came out and people were going from 19 inch to 20 inch.

This particular wheel style was done to get a semi concave look with the big split, thin spoke design. The wheels are not anodized but first brushed and then powder coated with a tinted red clear coat. This brings out a brillant red chrome look that is beautiful at every angle. The wheels feature black rivet hardware to help split up the inner and outer barrel while complimenting the center locking nut. Because of the 21 inch wheel size, tire selection is tough to find in the sizes needed. Much like our Project Viper, the rear size is massive and hard to find. Conveniently, our friends at Pirelli Tire make the size we need. The P-Zero are done in a 325/25/21 in the rear and a 255/30/21 in the front. For those running a 21×13 rear, you can go with Pirelli’s P-Zero 345/25/21 as we have on the SRT Viper.

With the new shoes, we needed to get rid of that offroad look the 911 now had. Because of the complexity of the stock suspension and its benefits the new PASM system has, we chose to just upgrade the suspension with H&R Springs. On previous Project Cars such as our BMW M3 E90 and BMW M5 E60, we had H&R springs on both of those and were very satisfied with the street ride. The 991 Turbo H&R Springs lower the front of the car 1.1 inch and the rear 1.1 inch for a perfect balanced stance. When driving the car in comfort mode, the car still absorbs the bumps and rides quite nice. When PASM Sport Suspension Mode is enabled, the car then feels as if you were on coilovers. Because there is no adjustability with rebound and compression, the car could benefit from sway bars as it feels as if it wanders a bit more at higher speeds. Overall, the H&R Springs are a great addition to the Porsche 991.

Aggressive look, I like it, with the exception of the wheel size/finish combo. I think the 21" diameter and the eyepopping finish draw the eyes away from the rest of the car a bit too much, but just IMHO.

+1!
Tons of negative camber... great for the track, not so great on the street.

The pictures were taken immediately after spring installation, once the car settled we went ahead and did an alignment. Less negative now

There are 2 reasons I decided to ceramic coat the complete Agency Power exhaust system on our Porsche 991 Turbo. Reason numero uno is the performance factor and reason numero dos is all aesthetic. After seeing how sick (badass, awesome, good looking, etc) the OEM exhaust on the Konigseiggwe had here at the shop was, it was my mission to do this. Typically ceramic coating is done in a gray or black on headers. However to be "Vivid" and match this Konigseigg look, I did the full exhaust in white ceramic coating. The coating is designed to do the following for your vehicle.
  • Reduces under-hood or engine bay temperatures
  • Improves thermal efficiency of the engine system
  • Maintains uniform temperature throughout the exhaust system
  • Improves the performance of the heart of the vehicle
  • Provides more useful horsepower by reducing the mass of the reciprocating components
All these are very true and important considering the Porsche engine setup. Where a front engine vehicle has the length of the car to run an exhaust, the Porsche has the headers, mufflers, cats, and turbos packed into a tight area. The EGT temperatures that affect Sport Chrono overboost can increase significantly robbing you of power. The amount of heat that the catalytic converters can give off in the location can affect the temperatures of the headers and exhaust gas going into the turbos as well. With your compressor inlets being fed in the vacinity, ceramic coating can bring down all of these temperatures to improve engine power.

Our full Agency Power 991 Turbo exhaust includes the mufflers, high flow HJS cats, and high flow headers for a HUGE power gain over stock. Ceramic coating is offered by Vivid Racing on all exhaust products at an additional charge. For more information, inquiry with our Sales Team via Email, Phone, or Live Support.

Check out these snaps and this video of our exhaust revving up! Stay tuned for a hooning video and dyno runs.

That sure looks nice, but it should when it's fresh.

What's it look like after it's been brought to temp a few times??
