For the life of me I cannot figure out what this is. I went to the dealer today got into a turbo s with the package and it just seemed like some led lighting around the map light console and lighting in the map pockets? Can anyone help me understand what exactly this package is? Is it worth it?

 

My dealer said it's some extra accent lighting in the cabin ceiling, map pockets and foot wells that I believe is on even when your interior lights go out. It's a nice touch and can help u find stuff at night without burning out your retinas with the interior lights. Is it worth it. That's a whole other question.

It's a subtle nice touch, no deal breaker by any means, but a "relatively" low cost option for porsche.

 

Yep, and I thought it would be a nice touch at night for my all-black interior.

I have it in my Cayenne and had it in my C2S. I like a dark interior at night. I see like a bat in the dark anyway. I did not order it in my turbo or GT3. A waste IMHO.
