Otherwise, other than the 0.1 sec quicker to 60 and 3mph more top speed, its virtually the same car! I think the 18k I'm saving will go nicely as a downpayment for a Patek.
What about the difference in depreciation? Options essentially get you nothing at resale. The S would definitely go for higher (look at 997 C2 vs C2S values).

Sorry Jonny...I stand corrected - those wheels are my first choice on my car as well I didn't see the S in your order - and as most tt owners don't opt for the CL program it didn't click to me. This was my screen saver for a while last month - that racing yellow is really really nice color - soft but sporty it is perfect against the black in the TS wheels - your car will be magnificent. Again, the black in the glass roof will only enhance yours.

Lots of controversy over the center locks but I too really liked them and ordered them on my non S TT. In general if I can't tell the difference or don't appreciate it, I don't spend the money.

You're talking to an M6 V10 and Ferrari 612 owner. If anyone knows depreciation, its me! I just pick what would work best for me and take into account my budget and gut and don't usually wander outside my comfort zone in this regard. Generally 911s hold value quite well so I'm not worried about selling for less than an S owner. Bottom line is I'm sure the non-S TT will keep me smiling for the next 7 years come what may.
