I would call and check, I called a bunch of dealers in the last three days and they offered me buildable 2015 allocations for September delivery. I asked them to check whether production was still moving as planned and when they pulled their cars up the dates had been pushed back. I'm not saying this is a global thing, just something I noticed.

With what we're going through on the GT3 I decided to skip potential delays and find one in stock.

I'm thinking of picking up a yellow turbo s cab. Glad to see I'm not the only one seeing yellow.

I'm a little scared of when it actually shows up that it will be too much.

Jeff,

I have the sheet from dealer generated by PNA showing it is a 2015. It will be the dealer's first 2015 Turbo S Cab

The dealers you spoke to don't have build slots until September. It doesn't mean slots don't exist before then. Mercedes S Class 2015's start coming in next month. Seems like auto companies are moving up their builds.

2015 TTS build

My build sheet dated 4/15 says the V200 - delivery date determined. Early July build estimated late August delivery. Yes, the factories in Germany close for the month of August. Cars take a week to as long as ten days to build, if past is any guide. They then go to holding area at factory then to port awaiting shipment, which could be a few weeks. On ship for a week or so to northeast US. After arrival in US another week of so in port or transit to dealer.
I believe that the first 2015's roll of the line in June, but that may be for Euro delivery, not sure. Don't know how GT3 engine program impacts production of other models, but the company is in business to make money, so I have to believe that they keep things moving. Given the configuration cut-off times they have at least a couple of months to schedule production of each order.

i am in v200 status as well i believe right now...build goes into shop 5/8 not sure where that puts me for delivery. If i had to guess their seems to be quite a few deliveries taking place the last few days so I'm going to go out on a kneck and say every 4 weeks or so the "dust settles"??

rear reflectors are tinted?

How did you make your rear reflectors darker? I like that look better than painting them.

Buy the mesh film...demo below or give to detailer..really easy DIY project...get nice scalpel and steady hand and do only cut onto light or paintwork ...really easy to work with a move about..all red on my car and side indicators took about 90 mins with a coffee break to steady the hand

Was furious. Luckily the dealer has a cancelled order that arrived which is 95% similar to my custom order. So I have to live without PDCC, stitched seats, power steering plus, adaptive cruise control and reverse camera. The car also has a different wheel (car came with cf with gear change buttons....I ordered alcantara sport design with paddles) and seatbelts (came black...I ordered racing yellow) to my configuration that the dealer agreed change for me. The car also has painted PCM (yellow) which looks horrible IMO so they are changing that whole thing for me to the standard black. Also insisted on painting the red brakes yellow to match the racing yellow color and window tinting and protective film on bonnet as part of the deal. They accepted so I'm going down tomorrow morning with my chequebook.

So looking forward to taking delivery of my new 2014 TT in the next week or 2 hopefully.
Congrats and look forward to the pictures. Not sure if it's available in Bahrain, but a classy car like the Turbo deserves the best tint on the market - Spectra PhotoSync

(we're located in California, so not completely sure if this tint is available in your area)
